The company’s plans were confirmed by Danville City manager Ken Larking who told the Danville Register & Bee last week that Caesars is working with the Virginia Lottery to have a temporary casino at the Schoolfield site. Officials made the statement during the company’s third-quarter earnings call with investors last week.
Caesars Entertainment announced that it is planning to open a temporary Danville casino in mid-2023.
